Resources for Student Workers

You can find schedules, job assignments, and other information here.

Logging In

The first time you click on the login link, select the "reset password" option*.  The system will send you a link to set your own password -- please select a password you will remember!  (However, you can reset the password every time if you need.  Your password is unique to you, and will not impact other users.)

The next screen will welcome you to the system.

*If you set up your password through the welcome email sent by LibStaffer, you do NOT have to reset your password again - unless you want to!

screen capture of the login landing page. Image will be described in following text. The "LibApps Box," pictured above, should contain a link to LibStaffer, and your name should be in next box labeled "Librarian."

In the box, click on either the word "LibStaffer" or the full domain url, and you will be taken to your unique page in the scheduling software.

LibStaffer Dashboard

The after you click the link to LibStaffer, the menu at the top of the page should reflect the options available in LibStaffer.

In the screenshot above, the section labelled "1" shows your upcoming shifts.  It lists the date, time, and schedule (in this case, "Student Ambassadors") and the final column includes the buttons that will allow you to give up or swap each shift.  These options are discussed in more detail on another page of this guide.

The area labelled "2" is the Clock In/Clock Out button.  You must be on the campus network (either in the library or on the campus wi-fi, as it verifies by IP address) to log in or out, and you cannot clock in if you do not have a scheduled shift on the calendar.

The area labelled "3" is the message wall, where supervisors can post messages and you can reply.  Regular users can NOT start a new wall post.
