Resources for Student Workers

Your LibStaffer calendar can be set to sync with Google Calendar and other similar calendar apps.  However, SUNY Broome Google accounts do not allow for simple linking, and the Library staff haven't had the time to fully investigate this!  But feel free to play around, and kudos if you figure it out.

On the LibStaffer Welcome screen, you land on the "My Upcoming Shifts" tab.  To the right of that tab is another labeled "Open Shifts."  At this time, your supervisor has left everything open and divided into 1-hour blocks.  If you miss a shift or have extra hours to use (this may happen toward the end of the semester), you can claim an open shift.  At this time, please DO NOT claim hours without checking with your supervisor first -- we are currently learning this new system, too, and are trying different features as needed and customizing as we go!

You may also be able to swap shifts with other Student Ambassadors.  (This is a feature the library staff haven't used much yet, more to come)

Please feel free to poke around in the LibStaffer features, and see what you can do and what works best for you.  Let your supervisor know!  And you may find that your discovery will be added to this LibGuide to help your peers.  Thanks!
