Major Group Projects

(Group meetings in class on February 12, March 4, 18, April 22.)

Group 1:

 Research and report on political movements for democratic reforms both past and present and political prisoners throughout the world.

Group 2:

Research and report on Pol Pot, the Khmer Rouge, and present-day Cambodia and on the history and present day situation of Myanmar.

Group 3:

 Research and report on CIA Black sites throughout the world and the countries that permit it. What occurs at those sites?

Group 4: 

Research and report on Indigenous people throughout the world. What is their history and their present situation?
