Library research guide.

Citing Your Sources

It is important to cite where you find your information, quotations, and ideas. Which format, e.g., MLA, APA, Chicago, is your instructor/assignment requiring you to use? See the appropriate style guide for examples of how to cite your sources

Citation tools are also available in a lot of the databases now. Look for these to help you out. As a note, they usually have disclaimers mentioning it is your responsibility to proof the citation(s) for both content and format.
