1. Read the top 10 computer literacy skills listed in Article 1. What are the three skills that you feel the most competent in, and how did you gain these skills (for example, did you learn them in previous schooling, in your job, etc)? What are the three skills that you feel the weakest in? What are three steps you can take to improve your computer literacy skills? 
2.  According to Article 2, why is it important to evaluate the sources and information you use on the internet? What might happen if you do not do this? What are some things that you should look for when trying to verify the reliability of a source you are using? 
3. Using the guidelines in Article 2, find an article/website on the internet about a relevant issue in healthcare (this can be about any healthcare topic). Evaluate the source's reliability by answering the following questions about your article: 

• Provide the link and title of your article
• Who is the author of this article? Are they qualified to write on this topic; why or why not? 
• Who is the intended audience of this article?
• What is the purpose of this article? Why was it written? (to inform, to teach, to persuade, to argue, to sell something, etc)
• Is the information in this article fact-based, or is it more opinion-based? Does there seem to be a bias in this article? How can you tell? 
• What are some ways you could verify the accuracy of the information in this article? 
• Does the information in this article seem to be reliable and well-researched? How can you tell?
