SUNY Broome’s Mechanical Engineering Technology program is specifically designed to prepare students in the applied aspects of engineering. Mechanical engineering technology is a vital part of any engineering field. It requires the application of scientific and engineering knowledge and methods, combined with practical technical skills in support of engineering activities.
The Center for Career Development collaborates with campus, industry and community partners to provide transformative career and transfer planning services for students and alumni in their pursuit to enter the workforce or to obtain an advanced degree. The Center for Career Development increases transfer and career readiness, professional skill development, and ultimately employability of students and alumni.
The Technology Student Association fosters personal growth, leadership, and opportunities in technology, innovation, design, and engineering. Members apply and integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts through co-curricular activities, competitive events and related programs.
Nearly 3,000 professionals throughout North America have achieved these respected credentials for themselves, while bringing back to their sponsoring organizations best-practices for improving operational safety and efficiency.
