How to Request a Book from our Circulating Collection

Step 1

At this point, your request has been sent to the library.  After library staff retrieve the book from the stacks, you should get an email with a link to our pickup scheduling service.

How long should this take?

At this time, it could take up to 2 hours for staff to retrieve your requested materials.  And of course, if you place a request while the library is closed, your request will be processed when we re-open.

Step 2

Once library staff have retrieved your item, you will receive the following email.  The email will include the title of the item you requested, and a link to select a curbside pickup time.

Step 3

Click the link in the email, and you should land on this page.  You can select a curbside time or a time at the library circulation desk.
(NOTE: this screenshot does not include the circulation desk option.)

Step 4

At this point, your book is ready and you can arrive at your scheduled time to pick it up.

If you have requested curbside pickup, please call the number in the email you received when you arrive, wear a mask, and be prepared to show your photo ID.
If you are going to pick up your item inside the library at the circulation desk, you will also need to wear a mask and present your student ID.

Thank you for using this new service - we hope it helps you in these strange times!
