You can obtain a community borrower’s card at the SUNY Broome Library, which will allow you to borrow circulating books relating to dental hygiene, and also to use the computers in the reference room to access the library’s full-text databases. Due to our licensing agreements, we cannot provide alumni with remote access to our ebooks and databases. Just stop at the reference desk with your borrower's card and ask for a guest login.
This guide includes some recent dental hygiene reference books, a listing of our journal subscriptions, online databases, and Internet links for professional organizations and dental hygiene resources. You can also use PubMed, which is freely accessible, to search dental and medical journals. The PubMed website provides a Quick Start Guide and excellent tutorials.
